Job Title: Breakfast/Lunch Chef

Department: Kitchen

Reports To: Head Chef, John O’Sullivan

Scope of Work:

To provide Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa standards of service to all customers in an attentive and courteous manner in accordance with current legislation.

Main Duties:

To ensure 4* standards of service are achieved at all times.
To perform in a professional and courteous manner with all customers (internal & external).
To offer an in-depth knowledge of products and hotel services in general.
To ensure all hygiene regulations and HACCP are adhered to at all times.
To comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene and Employment.
To set up assigned work station
To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
To prepare, cook and serve Breakfast/Lunch according to recipes and as directed.
To maintain high standards of cleanliness as you work.
To store food correctly and observe proper stock rotation.
To report all maintenance problems to the manager on duty.
To attend and participate in hotel meetings and training.
Responsible for making sure that the section is cleaned properly, thoroughly and to the standards required before and after service.
To ensure that the fridges are cleaned daily to the standards required and that the food required for your section is properly stored to the required standards.
To make sure that all personnel abide by HACCP and the SOP’s.

You must remain totally flexible in your position and may be required to carry our other reasonable request made by Management.
